An old and tired copy. Contains numerous illustrations but the color fashion plates have been removed. Several pages are loose and I suspect a few are missing. The binding has a leather spine and corners but is detached from the text block. Marbled endpapers.

New York Harper & Brothers, Publishers 1884 Hardcover Very Good 
974 pages comprise the June to November section. An additional 172 pageswhich is December 1884, is also bound into this volume. B&W illustrations throughout. Inside the front cover is a sticker showing that this once belonged to the Spokane Public Library, there is also a small bookbinder's sticker from Buffalo, NY. Pages are clean and bright. Boards are covered in brown marbled paper with three quarter leather. Four raised bands and gold lettering on the spine. Marbled edges have faded. The binding is quite firm but the leather has cracked where the front board meets the spine.
