A handsomely bound volume, containing a Table of Contents for volume one and volume two, followed by the work of M. Balmanno. The page count begins after this portion with volume one being 352 pages volume two, 327 pages. Illustrated with striking b&w engravings, each with a protector page. Volume one contains 22 engravings including the frontis portrait of Moore, volume 2 contains 21 engravings. Binding is a rich brown buckram with gold dentelles on interior edges. Front and back covers are stamped with a floral pattern and the center of each board is embossed with a golden harp Five raised bands with gold decoration on the spine along with 'Moore' printed with gold lettering and the name 'Nora' printed at the base of the spine. All eges gilt. There is light rubbing near the corners. Inside the back board is the small sticker naming. the binder as Courier Bindery, East Saginaw, Mich. Pages and endpapers are unmarked.. 9" x 11". No date, circa 1880.
