This is a frieze featuring illustrations and text from Sendak's works. Possibly published as an advertising piece. No date. The first panel has a b&w photo of Sendak, much younger but I can't really tell the age (dark hair, mustache). There are a total of 18 panels, including the front (cover) and last (the end). Art from "The Sign on Rosie's Door", Kenny's Window", "In the Night Kitchen", "Chicken Soup with Rice", "Really Rosie", "Pierre", "Outside Over There", "Alligators All Around", "One Was Johnny", "Higglety-Pigglety Pop" and "Where the Wild Things Are" are printed in their original colors with text running at the bottom. Each panel is approximately 5 3/4" high and 6" wide, 72" extended. Interior panels are die cut at the top.
