A total of 12 single page and 3 cdouble-page illustrations. they are all bright and unmarked. The front and back boards are detached.There is an owner's name in faint pencil, dated 1872 on the ffep. this same name is written in neat script inside the back board with an address in New Jersey. the pages are sewn with string and one signature has pulled loos. Despite the condition of the binding, a very nice example of children's publishing in this era.
