Spine shows wear at top & bottom, wear on corners. Gift inscription is only interior marking. Lower 4 inches of back hinge separating, but still intact & secure. Frontis illustration of Twain w/facsimile signature has 2 dampstains at edges, tissue still there, opposite illus. of Titian's Moses. No foxing.
