From the frontis illustration to the last page of the glossary, all pages are clean and bright, 11 full page color illustrations (including frontis) and numerous b&w. Blank endpaper and half title have spots and markings. Former owner has written her name in two places inside the front cover. Blue boards with color paste-down, which has a 1" spot and some writing at the top Lower 2 1/2" of spine covering is loose, corners and top of spine have wear. Former owner's name on back board. I thiink she must have been learning to write her name -- it is confined to the outside and endpapers.
