B&W frontis portrait of Johnson, tissue guard is loose. Brown suede binding is lightly soiled with worn edges, gold lettering on the front. Silk endpapers, blank endpapers are browning, ribbon marker is detached. Neat gift inscription on ffep dated 1900. There is also a photograph tucked inside, which I presume is Jessie, the person who wrote the gift inscription. Pages numbered 119 to 144. Handmade paper, tiny bit of foxing.
