Last page of text is detached. Burgundy boards with light wear at edges. Gold lettering on the front has faded, about 35% remaining. The story of Tom Quick, whose family were early settlers at Milford (upper Smithfield), Pennsylvania. The Quick family cohabited peacefully with the Native Americans until the French & Indian War, Tom Quick's father was killed by the Indians and Tom vowed to avenge his father's death. Throughout the rest of his life, he murdered dozens of Indians.
