Yorktown Centennial Commission, 1881. Good+. 154 pages with many pages of ads, most of them for lodgings and restaurants. The first page is an ad for the newly remodeled Willard Hotel. Detailed listing of all planned activities. Sections on visiting military listed by state, with many describing the uniforms worn and the arms carried. A section of naval visitors lists the vessels and the crew. A section with Masonic visitors. A description of the Siege of Yorktown. The paper cover shows wear at edges and a 3' brown line on the front. The front bottom corner is lost (about 1/2") and the spine has 2 chips of paper loss (each about 1/2). Original owner's name and date in pencil on the first page is the only marking. Pages are clean and show no signs of foxing.
