Chicago: Belford, Clarke & Co., 1884. Very Good +. 625 pages, illustrated with b&w engravings, black and white frontis with tissue guard. Floral endpapers, all edges gilt. Padded alligator binding is tan with gold lettering on the front and spine. The spine has sunned slightly. The only marking within is on a blank endpaper in the front, which has a stamp that indicates that the Union Publishing House in Chicago is looking for agents. (possibly a salesman's sample).
